The laboratory performs tests to determine the class of resistance to theft by burglary of safe cabinets, safes, ATM safes and bases, vaults, vault doors and deposit systems.
The tests are performed with the aid of sets of tools and load devices using standard methods specified in:
- BDS EN 1143-1 “Vaults for valuables. Requirements, classification and test methods for resistance to burglary. Part 1: Safes, ATM safes, vault doors and vaults ”;
- BDS EN 1143-2 “Repositories for valuables. Requirements, classification and test methods for resistance to burglary. Part 2: Deposit systems ”;
- BDS EN 14450 “Vaults for valuables. Requirements, classification and test methods for resistance to burglary. Safe cabinets ”
